The David Brown-trained four-year-old has a very good record at this level, and was beaten just half a length when fourth in a Group Three race at Newbury on her latest start. She has run in 11 consecutive Group races since her last spin in a Listed race, which was at Sandown in June last year, when she won.

Today she tackles the 13-runner Albert Bartlett Stakes (Rous Stakes) (14.00) and will be ridden by Oisin Murphy in Qatar Racing's colours.

Longchamp's famous 'Arc' weekend opens in Paris today, and builds towards tomorrow's big event, the Gr.1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (15.55 local time, 14.55 in UK) in which 18 horses are due to run. Treve's attempt to win the race for a record third time is just one of the many intriguing elements of the contest.

Qatar Racing has two runners on tomorrow's card, and both go in Group One races.

The Karl Burke-trained Katies Diamond - who is owned in partnership with Barbara Keller - lines up in the opening Gr.1 Total Prix Marcel Boussac (14.00 local, 13.00 in UK) but needs to go up a gear after finishing third in Group Three company on her latest start. The ground should be slightly faster on this occasion, and that would be in her favour judged by two wins on a quick surface earlier this year.

The Gr.1 Qatar Prix de l'Abbaye (16.40, 15.40), France's sprint highlight, was traditionally the curtain raiser for tomorrow's card, but it is now placed after the Arc. Pearl Secret is one of 19 horses in this line-up, and will be ridden, like Katies Diamond, by Andrea Atzeni.
