Foaled in late January by the mare Mythie (Octagonal), Lot 1119 was knocked down for 240,000gns to Angus Gold of Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum's Shadwell Estates. Mythie, a winner in France, has produced three successful foals headed by the Gr.3 Nell Gwyn Stakes winner Esentepe.

Harbour Watch's first-crop foals have been popular throughout the four-day sale - earlier yesterday another of his representatives, offered by the National Stud, made 100,000gns when knocked down to David Redvers of Tweenhills Farm and Stud, home to Harbour Watch and two other Qatar Bloodstock stallions, Havana Gold and Charm Spirit. The latter pair, with Dunaden, are available for viewing at Longholes Stud near Newmarket during the December Sale.

By 11.30am today 32 of Harbour Watch's foals had changed hands this week at an average of 37,078gns and a median of 27,500gns. His covering fee remains at £7,500 in 2015.

In addition to Angus Gold and David Redvers other buyers of his stock have included leading figures from the racing and bloodstock industries, such as Amanda Skiffington, Anthony Stroud, Peter and Ross Doyle Bloodstock, Epona Bloodstock, Tally-Ho Stud, Redpender Stud, Powerstown Stud, Oaks Farm Stables, BBA Ireland and Yeomanstown Stud.

Harbour Watch was a brilliant unbeaten two-year-old by the champion sire Acclamation.
