Sheikh Fahad's colours over Grand National fences
Current Event, trained by Rose Loxton and ridden by Bryony Frost, lines up carrying the colours of Pearl Bloodstock in the Crabbie's Fox Hunters' Chase (16.05), a race for amateurs over two miles and five furlongs - famous fences such as The Chair, Becher's Brook and The Canal Turn are all jumped once.
Eight-year-old Current Event was compiling an impressive sequence of victories until running disappointingly at last month's Cheltenham Festival, but tomorrow's test is quite different. Likely dangers include the 2014 winner Warne, On The Fringe, who won the Cheltenham race, and Big Fella Thanks, who has completed the course in the Grand National on three occasions.
Pearl Bloodstock has enjoyed one 'jumps' winner this week thanks to Castello Sforza, who won a bumper on debut at Fairyhouse in Ireland for champion trainer Willie Mullins.
