This afternoon (1.40pm UK time) he bids for another top-level victory when tackling the Gr.1 Singapore Airlines International Cup, which is held at Kranji and has attracted 12 runners.

Jamie Spencer rides the Andrew Balding-trained seven-year-old, who was fourth in the Gr.1 Dubai World Cup on his most recent outing, and landed Australia's Gr.1 Mackinnon Stakes in November.

The John Moore-trained Military Attack is favourite to win the contest (which is worth in excess of £1,400,000), but as Balding told the Racing Post: "Side Glance was a bit slowly away in the Dubai World Cup and got caught a bit wide, but if he can get a decent start he'll have a good chance. He's a Group 1 winner, so is entitled to be on the premises."

Side Glance is joined in the line-up by fellow British runner Mull Of Killough from Jane Chapple-Hyam's stable.
