Both two-year-olds have been bought since the season started, with Beach Belle now owned in partnership with Lady Chryss O'Reilly, although the filly will carry Qatar Racing's colours today. Jamie Spencer rides Beach Belle - who is unbeaten in two races - while Colin Keane partners Cappella Sansevero, who was bought by Qatar Racing Ltd at the inaugural Goffs London Sale in association with QIPCO.

Kevin Prendergast, who trains Beach Belle, told the Racing Post: "She likes dig in the ground, so we're not worrying about the weather. I'm expecting a big run - I think she's very smart."

Cappella Sansevero finished second in the Gr.2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot less than 24 hours after his auction-ring appearance, but 11 days later he finished only fifth in the Gr.2 Railways Stakes behind another of today's runners, Kool Company.

Trainer Ger Lyons told the Racing Post: "He had a hard race at Ascot. The Railway came too soon for him and that was trainer error. If he runs to his Coventry form he should be bang there to finish in the first three."

Duelling Dragon became another winner for Qatar Racing when winning at Redcar yesterday. The David Barron-trained three-year-old was ridden by Phillip Makin.

York's featured August meeting starts next week and Qatar Racing has a strong new contender for the fixture's big handicap, the Ebor. Pallasator, a winner at Royal Ascot for Sir Mark Prescott's stable, has been bought privately.
