Roaring Lion - who will stand his first season at Tweenhills in 2019 - won another award on Thursday night, taking the honours for Outstanding Miler at the Racehorse Owner Association Awards.

Roaring Lion beat our own Lightning Spear, Alpha Centauri, Expert Eye and Saxon Warrior to win his prize. He was also up for the Outstanding Middle Distance Horse and Horse of The Year awards (both won by wonderfilly Enable).

Most of the Qatar Racing team were in attendance to collect the award, as was Roaring Lion's trainer John Gosden and the man who looked after him every day, Benario de Paiva.

Roaring Lion himself is now back in his box at Tweenhills after a very busy week parading alongside Lightning Spear and Hot Streak in Newmarket during the Tattersalls Mares Sale. Roaring Lion will stand his first season at stud for £40,000 and will prove extremely popular.
