8 To Follow transfer looms - Pearl Secret could be golden in Jubilee

Pearl Secret is among options to transfer in (or out), and he could prove very popular if running well again in tomorrow's Gr.1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes (16.20) at Royal Ascot. The David Barron-trained Pearl Secret ran a superb race at the meeting on Tuesday when fourth in the Gr.1 King's Stand Stakes, and a draw nearer the eventual first and second may well have seen him go even closer.

Fifteen horses have been declared for tomorrow's race, while 28 are set to tackle the Wokingham Handicap (17.00) in which Gamesome and Suzi's Connoisseur are Qatar Racing runners. Today QR relies on Game Set Dash, who steps up in trip having won a 12-furlong maiden recently, and now tackles the Queens Vase (17.35) from Ger Lyons' stable.

Pearl Secret is not the only horse this week who would have benefited from a kinder draw - Sacrificial(pictured) finished well clear of rivals on the stands' side during the Britannia Handicap, but had to settle for third as the first two places went to horses drawn on the opposite rail.
