The Eve Johnson Houghton-trained daughter of Kodiac runs in the £150,000 32Red All-Weather 3 Year Old Championships Conditions Stakes (2.55), which is run over seven furlongs and offers £93,375 to the winner.

Alutiq won at Kempton in January, gaining automatic qualification for today's 14-runner race, but she was then beaten at Lingfield last month when seventh of 13 runners, and today she faces a number of rivals that finished ahead of her on that occasion. They include the likely favourite Ertijaal, who won the Lingfield encounter, and American Hope who finished second.

Johnson Houghton said of her filly: "I'm very happy with her, but we could have been luckier with the draw. She had traffic problems when beaten last time out, but she still ran a good race. This is more or less the same race as last time, so with better luck in running I'm hopeful she can finish a lot closer."

Today's ground-breaking meeting, one of two taking place on Good Friday for the first time in Britain, is being shown live on At The Races.

In Scotland, at Musselburgh, a turf card is being shown on Racing UK. The David Brown-trained Fire Eyes is a Qatar Racing runner at this meeting, making his seasonal debut in the £25,000 totepool.com Borderlescott Sprint Trophy (2.40).
