Oisin Murphy will ride the four-year-old against 11 rivals, and will be hoping Wind Fire can produce a performance to match her excellent run at Haydock in May when she was third to Pearl Secret in the Gr.2 Temple Stakes. She was subsequently unplaced in Royal Ascot's Gr.1 King's Stand Stakes, but trainer David Brown knows she likes Sandown, having won twice from three visits to the track.

Halation is another Qatar Racing runner on the card - he tackles the Coral Challenge (14.35) which has drawn a field of 17. This will be Halation's first run since early May, when he was a good second at Newmarket, and trainer David Simcock reports him to be in good order.

This year's Epsom Derby winner Golden Horn is the star attraction at Sandown today when he runs in the Coral-Eclipse Stakes, and another Derby winner will be crowned tomorrow when the Gr.1 Deutsches Derby (16.10) takes place at Hamburg. The field of 17 includes Qatar Racing's Rogue Runner, who was unplaced behind Golden Horn at Epsom, but now wears blinkers for the first time.

Trainer Andreas Wohler has booked Murphy to ride.

In Ireland tomorrow, Ainippe bids to follow up her Curragh victory last month when running in the Gr.3 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Stakes (15.30) at Fairyhouse. Seven fillies and mares line up and Colin Keane rides Ainippe for trainer Ger Lyons.
