Jule In The Crown has become the first winner for Harbour Watch, the Qatar Bloodstock stallion who stands at Tweenhills in Gloucestershire.

An outstanding two-year-old himself, Harbour Watch (pictured) came close to getting off the mark when Mutoondresdashorse was beaten a short-head in a maiden at Newmarket last week, and his Broadhaven Honey went down by a neck at Leicester yesterday evening. Just 25 minutes later the promise became a first when Jule In The Crown, trained in Berkshire by Mick Channon, scored at Windsor. Owned and bred by Mervyn Stewkesbury, the filly won by two lengths in a field of seven.

She became the eighth winner for her dam, Jules, a daughter of Danehill.

More Harbour Watch juveniles will be making their racing debuts in coming days, including Sweet Sienna, who is trained by Dean Ivory for Mike and Heather Yarrow. A £60,000 yearling purchase at Goffs UK's Premier Sale, she is entered in a maiden at Kempton tomorrow.

There are no Qatar Racing runners today, but Pearl Bloodstock is represented by Pearl Dragon, who runs for Mikel Delzangles' stable in a conditions race at Cagnes-Sur-Mer (18.45).
