Caravel to skip Royal Ascot

Caravel will remain in the US and not make the trip to England for the King’s Stand at Royal Ascot and instead be aimed at the $400,000 Grade 1 Jaipur Stakes at Belmont Park on 10 June.
Brad Cox feels that keeping her in the US is the right move as Caravel aims to repeat last year’s Breeder’s Cup Turf Sprint but this time at Santa Anita on 4 November. The Jaipur Stakes is also a Win and You’re In race for the Breeder’s Cup Turf Sprint.
Caravel has won her last four starts and is now a 12 times stakes winner and has won 14 of her 22 starts
