Curracloe continued to impress yesterday when landing the Darley Fillies Stakes (Gr.3) at The Curragh in emphatic style for trainer Johnny Murtagh and jockey Ben Coen. The daughter of Baeed looked an exciting prospect when winning her maiden on debut at Gowran Park by 3 1/4 lengths at the start of the month, and yesterday's result, on far more testing ground showed she's the real deal. 

At no point in running did she look to give Coen any concerns, when asked she brushed aside eventual runner up Alpine Wedding, going on to win comfortably by 2 3/4 lengths.''She's a lovely, straightforward filly, and our's don't usually win first time out'' Coen said of the Johnny Murtagh trained daughter of the American Oaks runner up Sassy Little Lila, bought by Qatar Racing for 240,000gns at Tattersalls October Book 2 sale. 

''She's a bit special'' added Johnny ''and Ben has liked her from the word go. I was a bit worried about the ground this morning, but he said 'the good ones go on any ground and I think she's a good one' and he was right''.
