Sheikh Fahad's exciting six-year-old grey Carter McKay (pictured right) was today unveiled as one of 36 entries for racing's most prestigious National Hunt Flat Race.

The £75,000 Weatherbys Champion Bumper is the closing race on day two of the four-day Cheltenham Festival, which starts on Tuesday week (March 14). Carter McKay is one of five entries from the stable of Ireland's champion trainer Willie Mullins, who has landed the race no fewer than eight times.

Mullins' son Patrick has donned Pearl Bloodstock colours to ride Carter McKay in his two most recent starts, when winning bumpers at Leopardstown and Naas. Prior to that he won an Irish point-to-point before being offered at Goffs' Aintree Sale, where Mullins' agent Harold Kirk and David Redvers nominated him as a suitable buy.
