Choose Eight, Help Racing Welfare, and Win £10,000!
The 2014 Eight to Follow competition is a fun way to follow racehorses owned by Qatar Racing Ltd and Pearl Bloodstock whilst supporting Racing Welfare. Each entry costs £10, andALL proceeds are donated to the charity that provides help for those in need who work, or have worked, in the British racing and thoroughbred breeding industries.
The final day for entries is Friday, May 2, and the competition runs from May 3 - the day of the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket - to QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot on October 18.
It is easy to enter (click on the Eight To Follow logo to the right of this article or on the home page of this website) and there is a total of £19,000 in cash prizes to the five people whose selections collect the most points during the season. Each entrant creates 'a stable' of eight horses, and the winner will receive £10,000, the runner-up £5,000, the third £2,500, the fourth £1,000 and the fifth £500.You can follow your stable and the leaderboard via this website.
Your eight horses must come from the list of Pearl and Qatar Racing's European-trained horses that can be found on the competition page, and a minimum of four must be two-year-olds.
