Eight names to get you started

With prizes worth £19,000 and a jackpot £10,000 to the winner the competition is well worth entering, and all money raised is given to Racing Welfare (www.racingwelfare.co.uk).

The same charity benefited during the recent Virgin Money London Marathon, when eight members of a Qatar Racing team completed the 26.2 mile course. Here are their suggestions for horses you could include in your eight-strong stable, but don't forget each one must come from the list of Pearl and Qatar Racing's European-trained horses and a minimum of four must be two-year-olds.

The final day for entries is Friday, May 2, and the competition runs from May 3 - the day of the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket - to QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot on October 18.
