Top-quality miler Endless Drama (pictured in centre of photo) bids to become a first Group One winner in Australia for Qatar Racing/Bloodstock when running in tomorrow's Aus$2m Emirates Stakes (4.15pm local time, 5.15am in the UK) at Flemington Park.

The four-year-old bids to follow in the victorious hoofprints of Dunaden and Side Glance, who each won top-grade Australian races, but both carried Pearl Bloodstock colours.

Endless Drama has already made himself a favourite at Qatar Racing having produced some outstanding performances, notably when second to the brilliant Gleneagles in last year's Irish 2000 Guineas, and when third to Belardo in this year's Lockinge Stakes. Trained then by Ger Lyons, he has since been transferred to Sydney-based Chris Waller.

Some Australian-style training has apparently done Endless Drama no harm, for he was impressive in both a barrier trial and racecourse gallop. Waller says of the colt's target tomorrow: ‚"It has attracted a very good field and I have certainly got no doubt that Endless Drama would be up to these horses at his best, but just getting him off the plane and learning about the horse makes it a little bit harder [to assess his chance].

‚"Gate four with Craig Williams in the saddle should ensure he gets a nice run, and I hope his class takes him a long way.‚"

British runner Scottish has been scratched leaving a field of 12.

Doncaster's Saturday afternoon card is the final meeting on turf this year in Britain. The November Handicap is the traditional highlight - Qatar Racing's Fourth Way, trained by Roger Varian and ridden by David Egan, is one of 22 runners in an apprentices' handicap (16.05).

Qatar Racing enjoyed a winner at Bordeaux in France today when Ming Dynasty won a conditions race for trainer Mikel Delzangles. The four-year-old, who was ridden by Vincent Cheminaud, scored by two lengths in a field of eight runners.
