Extortionist and Trade Storm run on Super Saturday

They are four-year-old sprinter Extortionist, who tackles the Listed Meydan Sprint (13.45GMT), a race over five furlongs sponsored by Arabian Adventures, and Trade Storm (right), who runs in the Gr.1 Jebel Hatta (16.05GMT), which takes place over nine furlongs and is sponsored by Emirates Airline. Both events are run on turf.

The card acts as a trials day for Dubai World Cup Night at the same venue on March 28.

David Simcock, who saddles four runners tomorrow, says of Trade Storm: "He will need his run in the Jebel Hatta in order to blow the cobwebs away. It will be his first run back from a break and you know what you get from him - once that first run is out of the way he is usually a model of consistency."

Extortionist, back for more at four

Olly Stevens, trainer of Extortionist, would be happy to see the horse try a sprint on dirt if the opportunity arose. He says: "He is incredibly well and is a little tighter than for his first run last year - he looks to have developed an even broader chest over the winter! He worked very well under Andrea [Atzeni] at Lingfield the other day but I will not be surprised if he needs the race - it should put him spot on for three weeks' time."
