First Mares scanned in foal to Qatar Bloodstock's Charm Spirit
The first, Visomiya, a five-year-old winning daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar owned by H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani's Umm Qarn Farm, was tested in foal at Tweenhills Farm and Stud, which is now home to Charm Spirit.
The four-year-old son of Invincible Spirit was retired to stand under the Qatar Bloodstock banner at the conclusion of the 2014 Flat season, following a scintillating victory in Ascot's Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes sponsored by QIPCO, in which he beat Classic winning-miler Night Of Thunder. That success followed triumphs in the Gr.1 Qatar Prix du Moulin de Longchamp and Gr.1 Prix Jean Prat.
Charm Spirit stands at a fee of £25,000, Oct 1 SLF, alongside Qatar Bloodstock's fellow Tweenhills Farm and Stud sires Harbour Watch and Havana Gold.
Harbour Watch's initial crop are now yearlings, while Havana Gold's first foals began arriving in January.
