Fruity wins at Donny - new leader of 8 to Follow
Former joint-No.1 George Oborne picked up a further 20pts and shot to the head of the table with a total of 230pts, while Archie Pottinger and Henry Rogers - who also boasted Fruity as a member of their stables - have moved into second spot with 220pts, relegating Bertie Butler to joint-third.
His tally of 210pts is shared by Wanda Marshall and Alastair Maude - the latter has Fruity in two stables, and is in a strong position after a third of the season.
Fruity is trained by Clive Cox and was ridden in today's Betdaq The Sports Betting Exchange EBF Stallions Maiden race by Jamie Spencer. A daughter of Camacho, she was bought by David Redvers Bloodstock for €40,000 at Tattersalls Ireland in September last year, having been picked out by Hannah Wall.
