Qatar Racing homebred 2yo filly Out of The Stars made an extremely impressive winning debut at Kempton on Wednesday, producing a performance right out of the top drawer.

Out of The Stars was sent off odds-on to make a winning debut in the 5f Unibet Support Safe Gambling/EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes and she duly obliged. After being slowly into stride, Out of The Stars made up ground rapidly to latch onto the main pack and was poised to strike at halfway.

Under Oisin Murphy, Out of The Stars showed an incredible turn of foot to sweep down the outside, past five rivals, and hit the front at the 100yd pole. Out of the Stars showed a wonderfully tenacious attitude to hold her rivals at bay and become a second winner on the day for Zoustar, following Jamie Bond’s all-the-way success over 5f at Catterick.

Out of The Stars could now head to either the Listed Marygate Stakes at York on May 19 or Gr.2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 21 for the Archie Watson stable. Out of The Stars' grandam Primo Lady won the Marygate and Out of The Stars' dam Out of The Flames was third in the Queen Mary. Out of The Stars looks a filly with an incredible amount of natural talent.

Out of The Stars was named as part of a social media competition. She is by Qatar Racing’s International sire sensation Zoustar, currently standing his fifth Northern Hemisphere breeding season at Tweenhills, and out of Showcasing mare Out of The Flames, also based at Tweenhills.

Out of The Stars' full sister, 3yo Stars On Fire, won a 5f maiden in the US last November for Wesley Ward and also looks very exciting. Out of The Flames has a yearling filly by Kameko and a colt foal by Zoustar. She's in foal to the late Havana Gold.

Zoustar offers European breeders exceptional value at £30,000 (Oct 1st SLF) given he stands for AU$198,000 at Widden Stud in his native Australia.
