Kings Shield, a son of Scat Daddy rated 108 by the BHA, has been sold by Qatar Racing to race in Hong Kong.

Kings Shield will continue his career in the Far East after being sold by Qatar Racing since his fifth in the Gr. 1 St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Kings Shield won two of his six starts for Qatar Racing and also finished sixth in the Gr. 1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains in May, beaten just over three lengths by winner Olmeda.

Three-year-old Kings Shield was trained by John Gosden and ridden in all outings bar his debut by Oisin Murphy.

The deal was brokered by Alastair Donald of Sackville Donald, and we wish the colt's new connections good luck.
