Ridden by Oisin Murphy for trainer Ralph Beckett, the three-year-old was making her second start, having been beaten a head in a race at the same Berkshire track in October. Put away for the winter following that run, she had been showing Beckett the right signs in her early spring work and duly obliged in style today.
She steadily pulled clear with two furlongs to run and Murphy was able to ease her down near the post.
Mountain Bell was bought by David Redvers Bloodstock at Baden-Baden in September 2014 for €46,000.
