Qatar Racing's retained rider - and 2019 Champion Jockey - Oisin Murphy dropped in at Tweenhills recently to visit the Roaring Lion foals.

After his fantastic winter in Japan - where he rode 27 winners in January - Oisin stopped by in Gloucestershire to visit the Qatar Racing breeding stock, including the latest batch of foals.

Oisin is pictured with a two-hour-old colt whose parents he rode in their finest hours, both for Qatar Racing. By the late, great Roaring Lion, the little fellow is out of Stroll Patrol, who was third in the 2014 Gr.3 Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes. That latter race came two days before Oisin turned 19!

Oisin also checked out Rich Legacy, whom he rode to win the 2016 Gr.2 May Hill Stakes, and her almost black colt foal by Roaring Lion, as well as other mares he rode in Stakes races such as Diamonds Pour Moi (Roaring Lion filly) and Natural (Zoustar filly).

⁩⁦Also receiving attention from the superstar jockey were the five Qatar Racing stallions at Tweenhills: Zoustar, Havana Gold, Charm Spirit and two horses that Oisin rode to their biggest victories, Lightning Spear and Hot Streak.
