Qatar Racing will sell 10 horses at the upcoming Autumn Horses In Training Sale (9.30am October 28th-31st) at Tattersalls in Newmarket, including Guildsman.

The star of the Qatar Racing draft is Guildsman (Wootton Bassett - Dardiza) who was beaten less than a length when third in this year's Gr.2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, form that has been franked since. Guildsman has since finished fourth in the Gr.2 July Stakes at Newmarket and second in the Gr.3 Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh, unlucky not to finish closer in the latter after meeting trouble.

Guildsman is currently trained by Archie Watson and has a Timeform rating of 107 (BHA 104). He remains a high-class prospect for six and seven-furlong races, both in Britain and abroad.

Illusionist (Hot Streak - Irishstone) also ran well at Royal Ascot when a close fifth in the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes over five furlongs, which came after his eight-length win at Bath. His novice win came on fast ground but his Windsor Castle performance was on soft, so he will be a very versatile sprinter for his new owner.

Another two-year-old sprinter sure to be popular is X Force (Bungle Inthejungle - Nafa) who is arguably unlucky not to be unbeaten in three starts on the all-weather. He won a novice at Wolverhampton and a nursery (off 80) at Chelmsford before an eye-catching fourth at Kempton recently. His dam won five times as a five-year-old and X Force appeals as the type to keep on improving.

Well-bred fillies Airbrush (Camacho - Cover Girl) and Heavenly Tale (Shamardal - Angels Story) will also attract plenty of attention, the latter by the sire responsible for this season's leading juveniles Pinatubo, Earthlight and Victor Ludorum.
