Qatar Racing and associated partners are selling six horses at the annual July Sale, which starts tomorrow (Wednesday) in Newmarket.

Run by Tattersalls, and held over three days while the July race meeting takes place on the edge of town, the event offers a wide selection of horses in training. Among them is Lime And Lemon (Lot 305), a well-bred filly who won for Charlie McBride's stable at Beverley on Saturday.

A daughter of Qatar Bloodstock stallion Makfi, her dam, Nimboo (Lemon Drop Kid) was a half-sister to Group One winners Lord Shanakill and Together Forever.

Lime And Lemon is selling from the consignment of Jamie Railton, which also includes the Lawman three-year-old filly Believer (Lot 101), who finished second in a 15-runner race for Jean Claude Rouget's stable in March. Out of the winning mare Militante who was also placed in Listed company Believer is a half-sister to the winner and Listed-placed Golden Fastnet.

Four-year-old Sense Of Victory (Lot 100) scored over 12 furlongs at Roscommon for Johnny Murtagh's stable last year a daughter of Montjeu, she is a half-sister to five winners.

Faraday Effect (Lot 355) is an unraced, gelded half-brother to Qatar Racing's Classic winner Just The Judge, and also to the Listed-placed Obliterator. Another gelding, Playful Dude (Lot 356) by US sire Drosselmeyer, was not beaten far when third of four on debut over 12 furlongs at Kempton in January, while Qatar Rainbow (Lot 463) is an unraced colt by Makfi and a half-brother to four winners out of the Grand Lodge mare Habilea.
