Qatar Bloodstock recently bought a share in the colt who is now owned in partnership with Antony Thompson's Widden Park Stud where he will eventually take up stallion duties.

Trained near Sydney by Chris Waller, Zoustar won a pair of Grade One races last year - the Golden Rose and Coolmore Stud Stakes. His next goal following the trial is likely to be the Gr.1 T J Smith Stakes at Randwick on March 12. It was won last year by the great Black Caviar.

Jockey Jim Cassidy told reporter Ray Thomas of Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph that he had been keeping a close eye on three-year-old Zoustar during track work at Rosehill.

"I see him every morning and he looks great,'' Cassidy said. "He has really muscled up and looks bigger and stronger.''
